Hey I read your comments on my Deviant Art piece, Sid and Nancy. I remember when I wrote that piece, I was sixteen (I;m now twenty two- I haven't accessed Deviant art in maybe 3 years?)

Looking back on it, that piece is pretty awful. Most of the research came from reading all the basic history on the net that I could find at the time.

I've since matured infinitely, grown up, done some nursing, seen the world and I realise that a lot of the sentiments I wrote about were fairly silly and naive, but that's what I was at the time.

A young girl in Australia, who was starting to get into grunge music and punk, starting to grow up and grappling with a mental illness. So I still like that piece, not because it was terribly good, but because what it said about me at the time.

Cheers!
